What I’ve been up to lately.
- I’ve been listening to lots of great music lately: In A Silent Way by Miles Davis, Sounds of Crenshaw Vol. 1 by the Pollyseeds, Jazzmatazz Volume 1 By Guru, Dinner Party and Dinner Party: Dessert, and Mama’s Gun by Erykah Badu.
- I’ve been listening to a ton of Misquoting Jesus with Bart Ehrman. Biblical scholarship can be really interesting, it turns out!
- I’ve been playing Baldur’s Gate 3, and man can the writing be cringe at times. Still, I’m having a great time.
- I recently rebuilt my whole home server system. I built it on Fedora CoreOS with every service as a podman quadlet container. I’ve got auto updates turned on for containers and the system, I’ve got a personal headscale server running with a port open to WAN(!!!), and it’s been smooth as butter so far. It’s inspired me to build my personal music library, which makes me much more intentional with what I listen to.
